At the beginning of the year 2013, we noted that the RTS offices could not issue the tax card of the Company directors (managing director of a S.A. or director of a S.à.r.l., holder of the business license and registered as a self-employed with the “Centre Commun de la Sécurité Sociale”), residing in a Luxembourg commune apart from the City of Luxembourg, since they do not have a listing about them.

In order to obtain their tax card for the year 2013, the directors concerned have to file a tax card application, on plain paper by post, with the competent RTS office (http://www.impotsdirects.public.lu/profil/organigramme/rts/index.html). For the moment, there is no specific form for this purpose.

This application must indicate the full name, private address and tax number of the director, the name, address and tax number of the Company, the commune of the working place and any further information related to the personal situation of the director concerned.

For the subsequent years, the tax card of these directors will be automatically issued by the tax Administration.

For the Company directors residing in the City of Luxembourg and the non-resident directors (who are already known by the tax Administration), the tax cards are or will be automatically issued by the competent RTS offices.
